Construction Site Inventory Officer

Key deliverables & Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following deliverables:

1. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by implementation and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
2. Examine the levels of raw materials and supplies to determine shortages.
3. Document daily receiving and issuance of inventory.
4. Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations and stock levels
5. Evaluating new inventory, ensuring it’s ready to use.
6. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
7. Maintains physical condition of the warehouse; proper stacking and inspecting equipment;
8. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
9. Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
10. Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
11. Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
12. Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
13. Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
14. Strong decision making and problem solving skills
15. Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.
16. Track rates of accuracy, purchase and return as well as defective items to help quality control decisions.
17. Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports; review reports monthly with management.
18. Proficient with computers and other standard office technology.
